The Role
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee planning and project controls for major hospitality construction projects in Makkah. The successful candidate will lead project scheduling, monitor progress, manage risks, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain baseline and look-ahead schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, critical paths, KPIs, and schedule performance.
- Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare procurement schedules, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports and identify project risks.
- Develop recovery plans, mitigation strategies, and delay analyses (EOT claims).
- Support project leadership with schedule updates, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in Germany (Mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 15–20 years of planning and project controls experience on large-scale building or hospitality projects.
- Expert user of Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of CPM, EPC processes, project scheduling, and project controls.
- Experience with baseline scheduling, delay analysis, risk management, procurement planning, and resource forecasting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PMI-SP, PSP (AACE), or similar certification is an advantage.
