Position: Planning Engineer

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction or contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
- Proficient in Primavera (P6) and MS Excel.
- Ability to prepare and analyze project progress reports, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with project and site teams.
- Ready to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6) or other planning software.
- Prepare detailed baseline programs, defining critical paths and project milestones.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Track project progress, identify delays, and prepare recovery plans and mitigation measures.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.
- Assist in resource and cost planning, including manpower, materials, and equipment allocation.
- Analyze project performance against baseline schedules and highlight variances.
- Participate in progress meetings and present planning-related data when required.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, scope, and contractual requirements.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and methodology.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
