WSP is seeking a Planning Engineer to support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for large-scale water transmission and pipeline infrastructure projects. The role will ensure effective project controls, schedule management, and progress tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare baseline programmes, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure schedule alignment.
- Analyze project performance and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Track critical path activities and provide schedule impact assessments.
- Support claims analysis, extension of time (EOT) evaluations, and change management processes.
- Review contractor schedules and validate progress against planned milestones.
- Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and client reporting requirements.
