We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with a strong background in Thermal Power Plant projects and
hands-on
expertise in Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all project phases, and coordinating with
cross-functional teams
to support the successful delivery of thermal power plant projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.Prepare detailed project plans, baselines, and progress reports.
Monitor project progress and compare it with the baseline schedule.
Identify schedule deviations, critical paths, and potential delays; recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports including S-Curves, histograms, and earned value analysis (EVA).Coordinate and participate in project review meetings and client interactions.
Support planning during shutdowns, outages, maintenance, and new installations.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
