ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Manager to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments. As Senior Planner, you will oversee and manage all related to scheduling and planning control for the project.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Main descriptions of the job position:
Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing detailed timelines, milestones, and contractors´ resources allocation.
Work closely with the cost control manager to establish and monitor project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Oversee project progress against established timelines and milestones, promptly addressing any delays or deviations that may arise.
Be proactive to identify potential project risks and devise effective contingency plans to address and mitigate them.
Consultant representative at meetings with the Client, other third parties, and contractors relating to schedule matters.
Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines managers to track and control project schedules.
Prepare reports and presentations for the Client, including project milestones accomplishments, timelines, and highlighting potential risks.
Act as a liaison between the consultant project team and the client, handle all schedule control issues and understand client requirements on this matter.
Provide guidance and support to the client on planning control matters.
Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of the highest quality work to the client.
Responsible for coordinating with other discipline managers in the team to provide direction to the consultant staff and foster a spirit of collaboration throughout the construction supervision services.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience). Member of chartered institution.
Applicable Experience: over 20 years in project and construction management, particularly in mega construction projects.
Primavera P6 Project software expertise.
Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
Excellent communication skills
Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
Additional requirements:
Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
Based in Riyadh.
Valid SCE membership.
