Stantec islooking to recruit Planning and Control Engineer to
join our team
in the UAE.The Planning and Control Engineer will be working onprojects associated with building projects. This will involveundertaking investigations planning designing tendering contractadministration and construction monitoring. Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limitedto:
In this role you will beresponsible for developing and updating project schedulescollaborating closely on defining project scope and objectives.
Your expertise in project planning will ensure that timelines aremet efficiently. You willmonitor project costs prepare financial forecasts and identifypotential risks to maintain budget control. Tracking projectperformance and preparing progress reports will allow you tocommunicate updates effectively tostakeholders.
Additionally youll focus on risk management byidentifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategiesin
collaboration
with the project team. Facilitating communicationbetween teams and stakeholders participating in project meetingsand analyzing planning processes for
continuous improvement
will bekey aspects of your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Project Management
or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning andcontrol within the design and construction industry. Proficiency in
project management
software (e.g.Primavera P6 MS Project). Â Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills. Â Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills. Â Ability to workcollaboratively in a
team environment
.
Preferred Qualifications:
