Short Description
This position is continuously managing the stock levels ensuring the the product availability as per the demand forecast and meeting the company’s targeted stock level as well while continuously reviewing the sales averages to update the sales forecast.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Works closely with the other internal and external teams to ensure forecasts and orders are accurate to minimize OOS (Out-of-Stock) if not eliminate or excess inventories.
Initiates and leads the demand forecast generation.
Identify the gaps between the demand forecast and the company target with recommendations for bridging the gaps.
Synchronizing the demand forecast and the order replenishment cycles, inventory levels, etc.
Evaluates the demand forecast accuracy, identify the gaps source, and reports them for management decisions.
Demand Review Preparations (DRP) – validates sales forecasts at SKU Level (Stock-Keeping-Unit) through comparative analysis; Initiatives Pipeline Volumes with CBD.
Collaborate with MS&P Team to have latest input of any changes in Strategic Sales Plan.
Provides analysis and recommendations in improving demand planning accuracy results.
Submits confirmed order to the suppliers/vendors as per the defined deadlines after having the thorough analysis and getting the manager’s approval.
Proactively follow-up Open Orders to be shipped and received as per planned RDD’s. / ETA.
Monitors item availability on a daily / weekly basis and communicates carried risks to stakeholders with recommendations for management decisions.
Tracks item movement in terms of availability, inventory, forecasting and initiative excellence monthly.
Initiates promotional items transfers as per the preplanned initiative roadmap.
Provides analysis and recommendations in improving supply planning results.
Ensures that items are accurately created on the ERP system matching the price structures.
Evaluates out of stock hurts and put the action plans for improvement (CFR).
Performs other tasks as delegated by the Line Manager.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Equivelant
