About ReFarm
ReFarm Group of Companies is a UAE-based Zero Waste Food Security Initiative. We focus on sustainable food production and waste reduction, aiming to enhance food security in the UAE through innovative, circular agriculture technologies. We are currently developing cutting-edge warehouse construction, including a 900,000-sq-ft "GigaFarm" project in Dubai's Food Tech Valley. This project features vertical farming towers and a closed-loop ecosystem designed to maximize resource efficiency, prevent waste, and decarbonize the food industry.
Role Overview
As a Planner at ReFarm, you will be the architectural timekeeper of our large-scale construction and warehouse construction projects. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing the project schedules that keep our builds on track. By closely monitoring timelines and anticipating bottlenecks, you will ensure that ReFarm's groundbreaking facilities are delivered efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously update comprehensive project schedules to reflect current plans and real-time execution.
- Progress Monitoring: Actively monitor on-site progress against baseline schedules to ensure project milestones are met.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential delays early and proactively prepare and implement strategic recovery plans to keep projects on course.
- Reporting: Generate and submit accurate, detailed progress reports to both internal management teams and external clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a project planner or in a similar project controls role within the construction industry.
- Software Proficiency: Highly skilled and fully proficient in using industry-standard project planning software, specifically Primavera and MS Project.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, strong foresight and problem-solving abilities, and clear communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
