Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand piping drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes according to specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble pipe spools, elbows, flanges, reducers, and fittings.
- Perform proper pipe alignment, fit-up, and tack welding preparation.
- Use cutting machines, grinders, drilling machines, and other fabrication tools safely.
- Check dimensions, angles, levels, and alignment before welding.
- Work closely with pipe welders, fitters, and supervisors to complete fabrication work.
- Inspect fabricated pipe spools and correct fit-up or dimensional issues.
- Follow project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pipe Fabricator / Pipe Fitter-Fabricator.
- Experience in pipe spool fabrication and industrial piping.
- Ability to read piping isometric drawings.
- Good knowledge of pipe sizes, fittings, flanges, and fabrication methods.
- Ability to use measuring and fabrication tools accurately.
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel piping is an advantage.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
