Position Summary:
As a Licensed Physiotherapist – Manual Manipulation Specialist at Healthline Day Surgery Center, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to improve the lives of our patients. Your expertise in manual manipulation and proficiency in a wide range of treatment modalities will be instrumental in providing individualized care and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate manual manipulation techniques and other evidence-based modalities.
Administer manual therapy, mobilization, and manipulation to alleviate pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.
Utilize various treatment modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy, as appropriate.
Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and home care routines.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and support staff.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as a Physiotherapist.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, with a focus on manual manipulation and diverse treatment modalities.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing physical conditions.
Excellent manual dexterity and hands-on skills in manual manipulation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
