- Evaluate and assess patients’ physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobilization, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, and mechanical devices to promote recovery.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises, recovery strategies, and self-management for continued rehabilitation.
- Refer patients to specialists and other medical practitioners when additional care is required.
- Ensure daily startup and shutdown procedures for all automated physiotherapy equipment are completed effectively.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of all physiotherapy tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Implement quality control, assurance, and risk management protocols to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with new techniques and advancements in physiotherapy to enhance patient outcomes.
- Train and mentor new physiotherapy staff on clinical procedures, patient handling, and therapy techniques.
- Conduct continuous education sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of the physiotherapy team.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within 24 hours of each treatment session.
- Maintain comprehensive patient assessments, including subjective and objective findings, pain scales, and treatment plans for every visit.
- Provide timely progress reports for insurance and medical documentation as required.
- Review patient history and previous treatment records prior to each session to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain clean and hygienic treatment areas, including assigned rooms, gyms, and functional spaces.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety guidelines within the physiotherapy department.
- Liaise with doctors, healthcare professionals, and other specialists to discuss patient progress and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Address patient concerns and provide clear guidance on rehabilitation and recovery.
- Refer patients to other medical specialists when necessary for further evaluation and management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the department or management to support the overall operations of the clinic or hospital.
- Ensure compliance with Qatars MOPH regulations, policies, and professional standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance nursing skills and stay updated.
- Any other task as assigned by management on a time-to-time basis as per the organization’s needs.
