We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a General Accountant, you will play a key role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, the ability to manage multiple financial tasks, and a passion for contributing to the financial success of a wellness-focused company.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll processing.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Manage tax filings, VAT compliance, and support external audits.
Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar).
Strong knowledge of VAT, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
