We are seeking a creative, versatile, and experienced Photographer & Videographer to join our team and produce compelling visual content for client campaigns, social media platforms, websites, advertisements, events, presentations, and brand communications.

Role Overview

The Photographer & Videographer will be responsible for planning, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality photography and short-form video content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong visual eye, a clear understanding of brand storytelling, and the ability to adapt their creative approach to different clients, industries, audiences, and brand identities.

Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography

  • Produce high-quality photography for client campaigns, products, services, events, interiors, lifestyle content, corporate projects, and social media.
  • Capture both polished campaign imagery and authentic behind-the-scenes content.
  • Photograph products, food and beverages, people, locations, events, and branded environments as required.
  • Ensure that all images reflect the client’s brand identity, positioning, and campaign objectives.
  • Direct models, employees, clients, and other participants during shoots when necessary.
  • Select appropriate locations, lighting arrangements, camera settings, lenses, and compositions for each project.

Videography

  • Film short-form content for social media, reels, advertisements, websites, presentations, and digital campaigns.
  • Capture interviews, events, behind-the-scenes footage, products, services, locations, and lifestyle content.
  • Create engaging reels, teasers, campaign videos, event highlights, advertisements, and brand storytelling content.
  • Ensure that footage is properly framed, lit, stabilised, and recorded in the appropriate format for each platform.
  • Capture clean and professional audio for interviews and video productions.
  • Adapt content for vertical, horizontal, and platform-specific formats.

Editing and Post-Production

  • Edit, retouch, colour-correct, crop, resize, and prepare photographs for digital and print use.
  • Edit short-form videos using appropriate pacing, transitions, captions, graphics, music, sound effects, and colour grading.
  • Select the strongest images and footage from each shoot.
  • Export content in the required formats, resolutions, and dimensions for social media, websites, advertisements, presentations, and print.
  • Maintain consistent visual quality while adapting the editing style to each client, campaign, and brand identity.
  • Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within agreed timelines.

Creative and Production Support

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Loft’s creative directors, designers, social media team, account managers, and clients.
  • Understand and execute creative briefs, campaign objectives, mood boards, storyboards, shot lists, and production requirements.
  • Contribute ideas for shoot concepts, visual storytelling, camera angles, locations, props, and content formats.
  • Assist with shoot preparation, equipment planning, lighting setups, location checks, talent coordination, and production schedules.
  • Participate in pre-production meetings and client discussions when required.
  • Manage multiple clients, projects, shoots, revisions, and deadlines within a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Identify potential production challenges and propose practical creative solutions.

Asset Management

  • Organise raw files, selected images, edited content, project files, and final exports using clear folder and file-naming systems.
  • Maintain an accessible digital archive organised by client, campaign, project, and date.
  • Ensure that photography and video files are securely stored and backed up.
  • Maintain accurate records of approved content, revisions, and final deliverables.
  • Handle client assets and confidential materials responsibly.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of three years of professional photography and videography experience.
  • Previous experience in a marketing agency, production company, creative studio, freelance environment, or in-house marketing team is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating professional photography and short-form video work.
  • Experience producing content for brands, products, campaigns, events, social media, advertising, or corporate communications.
  • Ability to independently manage shoots from planning through final delivery.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working directly with clients and creative teams is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of lighting, composition, framing, exposure, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong photography, videography, editing, retouching, and colour-grading skills.
  • Ability to produce both polished commercial content and authentic social media content.
  • Good understanding of current digital content trends, formats, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to translate creative briefs and brand guidelines into effective visual content.
  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Creative, proactive, adaptable, flexible, and solution-oriented.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to receive, understand, and apply creative feedback.
  • Comfortable working in studios, offices, outdoor locations, events, retail spaces, restaurants, hotels, and other client environments.
  • Willingness to work occasionally during evenings or weekends, depending on shoot and event requirements.

Technical Requirements

The candidate should be confident using:

  • Professional DSLR or mirrorless camera systems.
  • Lenses suitable for product, portrait, lifestyle, interior, event, food, and commercial photography.
  • Professional lighting equipment, reflectors, diffusers, tripods, gimbals, and stabilisation equipment.
  • Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar video-editing software.
  • Basic audio equipment, including microphones and audio recorders, for interviews and video production.
  • File-management, cloud-storage, backup, and export systems.

Knowledge of motion graphics, drone videography, studio photography, or advanced audio production would be an advantage.

Qualifications

A degree, diploma, or professional certification in photography, film, media production, visual communication, or a related field is preferred.

However, candidates with a strong professional portfolio and relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a portfolio containing relevant examples of:

  • Commercial and brand photography.
  • Product, lifestyle, people, food, event, interior, or location photography.
  • Social media and digital campaign content.
  • Short-form videos, reels, advertisements, or brand films.
  • Behind-the-scenes or documentary-style content.
