What you’ll do
- Cover news events, press conferences, interviews, and assignments across Doha
- Shoot commercial content for marketing clients: product, corporate, lifestyle, and campaign imagery
- Handle studio and on-location shoots, including lighting setup and direction
- Edit, colour-correct, and retouch images to publication standard
- Manage and archive image libraries with proper tagging and metadata
- Shoot supporting video content and B-roll where required
- Work with editorial and creative teams to plan shoots against briefs and deadlines
- Maintain and manage camera equipment, lenses, and lighting gear
What we’re looking for
- 3–5 years of professional photography experience, ideally spanning editorial and commercial work
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both news/event coverage and campaign/product photography
- Proficient with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
- Solid grasp of lighting — natural, studio strobe, and on-location setups
- Able to deliver fast turnarounds on news assignments
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when events require it
- Qatar driving licence and own transport preferred
Nice to have
- Video shooting and editing (Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve)
- Drone photography with valid licensing
- Experience covering events in Qatar or the wider GCC
- Arabic language skills
