Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising pharmacy activities, and supporting high-quality patient care in accordance with UAE and DOH requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and activities of the pharmacy.
- Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications.
- Review prescriptions and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Supervise and guide pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality service.
- Maintain proper pharmacy records, documentation, and controlled medication records.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stock monitoring.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and expiry monitoring of medications.
- Monitor compliance with DOH regulations, policies, and pharmacy procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related matters.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use and provide professional pharmaceutical advice.
- Address pharmacy-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- Valid DOH Pharmacist License
- Minimum 3 years of relevant pharmacy experience, preferably with experience in a supervisory or in-charge role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE/DOH pharmacy regulations and requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage pharmacy operations independently and effectively.
