Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure safe, compliant pharmacy operations in accordance with UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Verify prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage
- Maintain proper storage and handling of controlled and narcotic drugs per MOHAP guidelines
- Ensure compliance with UAE pharmacy laws, MOHAP regulations, and facility SOPs
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and expiry date monitoring
- Supervise pharmacy assistants/technicians (if applicable)
- Handle insurance claims and coordinate with providers as needed
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections
- Stay updated on new medications and regulatory changes in the UAE market
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
- Valid MOHAP (Ministry of Health and Prevention) license to practice as a Pharmacist in the UAE — mandatory
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred (retail or hospital setting)
- Good knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and UAE drug schedules
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic and/or Hindi/Urdu a plus
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with pharmacy management/POS software
Work Environment
- Retail/community pharmacy in Ajman
- Rotational shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per store operating hours

- Salary as per employment contract
