Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to provide professional grooming services for dogs and other pets. The ideal candidate will have excellent animal-handling skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal care.
Key Responsibilities
- Bathe, dry, brush, trim, clip, and style pets according to customer requests and breed standards.
- Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other basic grooming services.
- Safely handle pets of different sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages.
- Assess the pet’s coat, skin, nails, ears, and overall condition and report any concerns to the owner or manager.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe grooming environment.
- Properly clean and sanitize grooming tools, tables, tubs, and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming requirements and recommendations.
- Ensure pets are comfortable and treated with patience, care, and respect throughout the grooming process.
- Follow all company procedures relating to animal welfare, health, safety, and customer service.
- Maintain grooming equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning tools.
- Keep accurate records of grooming services and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a recognized pet grooming course preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic grooming techniques and animal handling.
- Ability to safely handle nervous, energetic, or difficult-to-manage pets.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle pets safely.
- Certification in pet grooming is an advantage.

Working Conditions

Compensation
Salary: 3000aed-3500aed
Location: Al Rawda 3, Ajman
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
