Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software and will play a crucial role in the design and drafting process for various projects. The AutoCAD Draftsman will collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts and designs into accurate technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD software for various construction, architectural, or engineering projects.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project specifications and ensure accurate representations of design ideas.
Modify and revise existing drawings based on client feedback or design changes.
Assist in the preparation of layouts, plans, and detailed drawings for various building and infrastructure projects.
Create detailed drawings for structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as per project requirements.
Ensure that all drafts and designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Perform regular reviews of drawings for accuracy, clarity, and completeness before submission for approval or construction.
Maintain a filing system for drawing archives, ensuring easy access to records.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure consistency across project documentation.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on drawing progress when required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, with a focus on 2D and 3D drafting.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and related drafting tools.
Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and design specifications.
Ability to interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
A degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Experience with other design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and related tools.
Experience in specific industry sectors (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical).
