Taking care of the children’s emotional and physical needs to include meals, hygiene, grooming and general well-being. Prepare the children for activities and make sure they are where they are meant to be according to schedules and as instructed.
Immediate joiners currently available in the UAE are preferred
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
2+ years’ experience working as a nanny.
Experience working with VVIP clients highly regarded.
JOB SKILLS
Must have a caring and compassionate attitude. Always supervise and monitor the safety and well-being of children.
Manage daily routines, including wake-up, meals, school, extracurricular activities, and bedtime.
Assist butlers with respective kids’ rooms, such as preparing laundry, cleaning bedrooms, arranging wardrobes and travel packing.
Arrange and organize children’s clothes, ensuring they are clean, folded, and put away properly. Arrange clothing that are too small or damaged for parents’ review.
Attend to children’s personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and changing clothes when necessary.
Keep track of medications or any health-related needs (e.g., allergies, special diets). Maintain a par level of all necessary medications needed, as advised by the doctor or the parents. Keep medical records always updated.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child’s progress or concerns.
Promptly report any hazards to the appropriate authority and follow established emergency protocols, ensuring safety is in place and functioning properly.
Ability to recognize and report any issues with pets in the room to the respective departments.
Ensure a clean and safe environment, including tidying play areas and toys. Maintain a clutter-free and safe environment in areas the children frequently use, such as playrooms and common spaces.
Travel with the children, including dropping them off and picking them up from school.
Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared according to children’s preferences and dietary requirements.
Coordinate with the tailoring or laundry services for any necessary adjustments to children’s clothing (e.g., altering or repairing clothes).
Monitor and track the stock of essential supplies required for the children’s care, such as diapers, toiletries, clothing, and educational materials.
Patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality about the family’s private life, routines, and any sensitive information.
Follow all security protocols and respect the privacy of the family members and their household.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding any behavioral or educational concerns.
Be respectful and knowledgeable of the family’s cultural and religious values, traditions, and practices.
Be prepared to work irregular hours, including weekends, depending on the family’s schedule.
Must be willing to travel.
