Pastry Line Operator-(Bakery Machine Operator Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Qatar Airways
Position: Pastry Line Operator-(Bakery Machine Operator )
As a Pastry Line Operator within Bakery & Pastry, you will be responsible for operating production lines and belts as assigned, including portioning lines, packing lines, pastry lines, etc. You will ensure the safe and smooth operation of the equipment and machinery at all times, while observing on-time completion of tasks and proper handover to the next production steps or assembly.
You will assist with preventive maintenance and problem-solving activities in collaboration with QACC Maintenance and contractors.
Accountabilities
Perform quick serviceability checks on assigned equipment and machinery upon reporting for duty and before finishing your shift.
Record and report all mechanical irregularities impacting equipment operation. Ensure proper handover between shifts and escalate issues when necessary.
Pre-set assigned lines and belts at optimal speeds and intervals according to product specifications.
Ensure the equipment and machinery operate smoothly throughout the shift and sections as assigned.
Follow and adhere to all equipment manufacturer guidelines, SOPs, safety tips, and basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Guide other staff members (not Operators) in the proper operation of equipment and machinery.
Analyze and adjust equipment settings to optimize operational efficiency without compromising safety and quality.
Coordinate with senior staff within and outside the department during emergencies.
Ensure daily KPIs are met and report any deviations.
