Our high-end restaurant in Al-Rayyan is seeking an experienced and talented Pastry Chef to join our team As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries and desserts for our customers We are looking for someone who is passionate about their craft and has a keen eye for detail
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries cakes and other baked goods following traditional and modern recipes
- Decorate pastries using different types of icings toppings and fillings to ensure appealing presentation
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies ensuring timely ordering to maintain freshness
- Train supervise and assist junior pastry chefs in the preparation and presentation of desserts
- Maintain a clean work area at all times following food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new desserts that meet our customers expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a high-end restaurant
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas for desserts
- Good communication skills to effectively train junior chefs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
- Egyptian nationality preferred
Salary
We offer a competitive salary package of 1200$ per month
