Position: Pass and ID Clerk
Overview
This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP.
Under the supervision of the Installation Access Supervisor, the incumbent operates the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) and performs duties related to the development and operation of Installation Access Programs supporting the USG mission in Qatar. The role involves reviewing documents, ensuring consistency across functions, reconciling programs, and addressing unclear areas in compliance with command guidance.
Responsibilities
Grant installation access badges, including enrolling all Locally Employed Persons (LEPs).
Receive and relay pertinent communications.
Review all installation access applications per USG policy in Qatar.
Update barment rosters to deny unauthorized individuals access.
Inventory, maintain, and troubleshoot all DBIDS equipment.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Education or certifications may be substituted with related experience. Must be CAC eligible or able to obtain a CAC. High School diploma required; AA or BA/BS preferred. Must be a US citizen, at least 21 years old, with a valid US tourist passport and driver’s license. Must meet USG security requirements and be able to obtain a host country driver’s license.
Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
Experience: Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior DBIDS experience is a plus. Deployed Southwest Asia experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent computer skills, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions exceeding 120°F.
Work environment may include hot, dry desert conditions and industrial environments.
Physical Requirements
Light work involving exertion up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently. May involve heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, and prolonged standing or sitting.
Use of PPE required in certain situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protection.
Compliance with fire and safety regulations is mandatory.
