Logix Engine is a Dubai-based STEM and academic education company serving students aged 6–18. Since 2016, we’ve grown to support 300+ students per week across robotics, coding, and academic tutoring, partnering with leading schools across the UAE.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry tutor to deliver high-quality lessons to IGCSE and A-Level students on a part-time basis. You will work with small groups and/or one-on-one, helping students build conceptual understanding, exam technique, and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with IGCSE (Edexcel/CIE) and/or A-Level syllabi
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice papers tailored to student needs
- Track student progress, provide regular feedback, and set targets
- Support students with exam preparation, past-paper practice, and mark-scheme analysis
- Collaborate with the academic team to maintain consistent teaching standards
- Communicate with parents on student progress as needed
- Upload resources and manage assignments via our LMS (MyLogix) where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field
- Prior experience tutoring IGCSE and/or A-Level Chemistry (Edexcel, CIE, or AQA boards)
- Strong command of core and extended syllabus content (organic, inorganic, physical chemistry)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Based in or able to commute to Dubai (Business Bay / JLT)
Preferred
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Experience with UAE-based curricula or international school students
- Familiarity with Moodle-based LMS platforms
Schedule
Part-time, flexible — typically weekday evenings and/or weekends (approx. 8–15 hours/week, subject to demand).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: AED70.00 – AED100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 12 per week
