Roles, Responsibilities, Duties
- Preparation of letters, NOCs and simple contracts in both English and Arabic
- .Creating and maintaining company registers including but not limited to POAs, trade licenses, AoAs and trademarks
- .Creating and maintaining logs for contracts and legal tasks
- .Monitoring and managing renewals of various legal contracts, corporate documents, POAs
- .Maintaining close links with the Abu Dhabi Public Notary offices; submitting documentation for approval, dealing with amendments and managing the notarization process
- .Assisting with the establishment of new subsidiaries within the Group and the licensing process
- .Manage and monitor invoices received from external legal/service providers, and audit for compliance with agreed fee caps and budgets
- .Maintain the legal precedent database and communicate with the wider business on precedent availability and use of legal resources
- .Assist with legal translations, or arrange for external legal translations where necessary
- .Assist the General Counsel with management of the Legal Department, including arranging regular team meetings, taking minutes and follow-up of agreed actions
- .Provide all lawyers with secretarial and administrative support, particularly in cross-checking, formatting and amending complex legal documentation, to protect the business and maintain high professional standards for the Legal Department and the wider business
- .Assist the General Counsel with maintaining the Board records and preparation and circulation of Board meeting minutes
- .Maintenance of all company registers and safekeeping of related legal documentation

Qualificatio
- n:A paralegal qualification/law degree, or a general office management qualification with sound legal experienc
- e.Demonstrable experience and/or qualification in Microsoft Offic
- e.A minimum of five (and preferably more) years’ experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal departmen
t.
Experience and Compet

- erienceExperience in preparing initial drafts for pleadings, motions, briefs, and summaries of
- cases.Experience in reviewing and drafting corporate contracts, AOAs, resolutions, a
- nd NDAsTracking, indexing, and organizing case files, corporate documents, and key files for major
- deals.Experience in serving as primary point of contact for clients, external counsels, court registrar
- s, etc.Hands-on experience submitting legal documents electronically to federal or local municipality/court portals is pref
- erable.Experience with corporate governance, M&A support and regulatory compliance filings is pref
- erable.Previous experience supporting Asset Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, real estate, construction, or infrastructure organizations is highly pre
ferred.
