WETICO is looking for an experienced Painting Supervisor to lead industrial surface preparation and protective coating activities for oil & gas, petrochemical, and water treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise blasting and painting activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Plan and coordinate surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection activities.
- Monitor environmental conditions including humidity, dew point, substrate temperature, and ventilation.
- Ensure compliance with coating specifications, WFT/DFT requirements, recoat windows, and repair procedures.
- Verify coating materials, batch numbers, shelf life, and mixing ratios.
- Maintain coating records, batch traceability, and inspection documentation.
- Lead and coach blasting and painting teams while enforcing HSE requirements and safe work practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of industrial blasting and protective coating experience.
- At least 4 years in a supervisory role within oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar heavy industrial environments.
- Diploma or Technical Qualification.
- AMPP/NACE Coating Inspector Level 1 preferred (Level 2 is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating systems, environmental monitoring, DFT/WFT inspection, and coating quality control.
- Experience working in Saudi Aramco (SAES/SAEP) regulated projects is highly preferred.
