Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Painting Inspector with CSWIP BGAS Grade 2 certification for an industrial/oil & gas project in Qatar. The candidate must have strong knowledge of coating inspection, surface preparation, and painting quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct painting and coating inspections as per project specifications and standards
- Monitor surface preparation activities (blasting, cleaning, profiling, etc.)
- Perform and record inspections such as DFT, environmental conditions, and coating application checks
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve painting/coating issues
Requirements:
- CSWIP BGAS Grade 2 certification (Mandatory)
- Minimum 7 years overall proven experience in painting/coating inspection
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of coating systems, inspection tools, and reporting
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
