Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil QC Inspector with 4-6 years of UAE-specific experience, preferably in Oil and Gas projects. The candidate will ensure all civil construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. This role requires a thorough understanding of civil construction quality control practices, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and quality checks on civil construction works, including excavation, concrete, structural steel, earthworks, and finishing activities.
Ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and relevant international and local standards.
Monitor material quality and ensure it meets the required specifications, including reviewing test results for soil, concrete, and aggregates.
Verify that construction processes and methods adhere to approved work procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs).
Identify and document non-conformities, suggest corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of inspection activities, test results, and reports.
Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards during site inspections.
Support project teams by providing quality-related guidance and technical expertise as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in civil construction quality control techniques and UAE-specific regulations.
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
4-6 years of UAE-specific experience in quality control for civil construction, preferably in Oil and Gas projects.
