Job Summary: The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, coatings, and finishes to prefabricated building components and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, priming)
- Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to building components
- Mix and match paint colors and materials
- Read and interpret painting specifications
- Ensure quality and consistency of finishes
- Maintain painting equipment and tools
- Follow safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications:
- Trade certificate or diploma in Painting
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in painting in construction
- Knowledge of paint types, coatings, and application techniques
- Attention to detail and quality
- Good communication skills
Experience:
- Prefabricated building : 3 years (Preferred)
