Planning Engineer (ELV and Security Domain)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Planning Engineer with expertise in Primavera and MS Project to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Security domain, managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely completion of ELV and security systems projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera and MS Project for ELV and security systems projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Track and update project progress, identifying any delays or issues and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular progress reports and schedule updates to senior management and clients.
Perform critical path analysis, resource allocation, and ensure that all project milestones are met on time.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensure that all aspects of the project are compliant with safety standards, quality requirements, and client specifications.
Maintain accurate records of project changes and updates, and manage the project documentation system.
Assist in cost estimation and budget management, identifying potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or costs.
Support project team in identifying and managing project risks, proposing solutions for mitigating delays.
Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders to provide status updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: 2 years of experience in planning engineering, specifically using Primavera and MS Project.
Industry Experience: Experience in the ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and Security domain is essential, with a focus on projects related to security systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and other related systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project for project scheduling and planning.
Strong understanding of ELV and security systems.
Familiarity with project lifecycle management and project documentation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate potential issues, manage risks, and provide solutions to maintain project timelines and objectives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
