About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in Riyadh, specializing in automotive and EV car painting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing techniques to deliver high-quality vehicle paintwork in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements
- Operate spray guns and related equipment to apply base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes
- Perform touch-ups, panel repairs, and blending to ensure seamless color transitions
- Inspect finished work for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, tools, and work areas following safety protocols
- Document work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in automotive painting, including EV car applications
- Proficiency in spray painting techniques and operation of spray guns
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation methods (sanding, masking, priming)
- Experience with paint mixing, color matching, and application of base and clear coats
- Familiarity with automotive paint types (water-based, solvent-based) and manufacturer guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety data sheets
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle painting tasks and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in automotive refinishing or industrial painting
- Advanced training in color matching and digital color management systems
- Experience working in a climate-controlled paint booth environment
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to paint materials and disposal
- Basic mechanical understanding of automotive bodywork and repair processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
