We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and proactive Location Hunter to help us identify the best locations for future real estate projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company and contribute to its expansion by scouting high-potential properties in the market.
Job Summary:
As a Location Hunter, you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing potential locations for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects. This role involves market research, site visits, competitor analysis, and building relationships with property owners, brokers, and other key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in identifying high-value opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Location Scouting: Actively search for and identify properties that meet the company’s criteria for new real estate developments.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand the latest trends, property values, and growth areas within targeted regions. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on potential locations.
Property Analysis: Assess the feasibility and potential of identified properties based on factors like location, infrastructure, accessibility, market demand, and zoning laws.
Networking & Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate brokers, developers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to gain access to off-market deals and insider information.
Site Visits: Visit prospective locations to evaluate their suitability, taking into account factors such as size, surroundings, amenities, and the surrounding area’s growth potential.
Competitor & Trend Analysis: Analyze competitor projects, new developments, and market trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify emerging opportunities.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and property profiles for senior management and decision-makers. Maintain an organized database of potential sites.
Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating with property owners and agents to acquire properties at the best terms and conditions.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in real estate, property acquisition, or a similar role (Location Hunter, Site Acquisitions, etc.).
Strong understanding of real estate markets, property valuation, and trends.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with a broad network in the real estate industry.
Good knowledge of local zoning laws, land use regulations, and urban planning.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess the financial potential of properties.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using real estate databases, Microsoft Office, and mapping tools.
Ability to work independently, with a self-driven approach and strong problem-solving capabilities.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically and long-term.
