Job Overview

The Organizational Development (OD) Manager is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance workplace culture, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and change management. This role focuses on implementing OD strategies that align with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and developing policies that improve organizational effectiveness and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Development Strategy

Develop and implement OD strategies aligned with business objectives.

Partner with leadership to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives.

Assess organizational effectiveness and recommend improvement strategies.

Culture & Employee Engagement

Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.

Design and execute employee experience programs based on engagement survey results.

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs across the organization.

Leadership & Talent Development

Design leadership development frameworks to build a strong talent pipeline.

Implement succession planning initiatives to ensure business continuity.

Facilitate executive coaching and mentoring programs.

Change Management & Transformation

Lead management efforts to support business transformations.

Develop strategies to improve the adoption of new processes and organizational initiatives.

Provide guidance on change impact assessments and risk mitigation plans.

Performance Management & Workforce Planning

Align performance management processes with organizational goals.

Partner with HR to implement competency frameworks and job evaluations.

Support workforce planning initiatives to ensure optimal talent allocation.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Use HR data analytics to assess trends and measure the effectiveness of OD programs.

Provide insights and recommendations based on employee engagement metrics.

Develop OD-related dashboards and reports for senior leadership.

Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments that he/she might be asked to do by his/her direct supervisor/manager for special assistance that are often not mentioned in this job description as they arise under specific circumstances.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.

Master’s degree or certification in OD or related areas is preferred.

Certifications in OD, Change Management, HR, or Leadership Development (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, Prosci) is a plus.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR or organizational development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in leading OD initiatives, change management, and leadership development.

Strong knowledge of organizational development principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Analytical skills to assess organizational performance and implement improvements.

Proficiency in using HRIS and learning management systems (LMS).

Project management skills with the ability to lead large-scale change initiatives.
