“We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with 4+ years of experience in managing end-to-end database life cycles. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both MS SQL Server and Postgre

SQL within Linux environments, focusing on high availability, performance tuning, security, and cloud integrations. As a Project DBA, you will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to ensure database resilience, scalability, and seamless release management.”

Key Responsibilities

• Database Administration:
  Manage the full end-to-end lifecycle of production, staging, and development databases (MS SQL Server & Postgre

  SQL).

• High Availability & DR:
  Design, implement, and maintain robust Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, clustering, and replication models using various storage architectures in Linux environments.
• Upgrades & Migration:
  Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and performance scaling to ensure maximum uptime and resilience.
• Patch Management:
  Apply security patches, PSU/CPU/RDBMS updates, functional patches, and configuration fixes proactively.
• Performance Tuning:
  Monitor, debug, and optimize database performance, assisting technical and functional teams in analyzing complex database issues.
• ITIL Processes:
  Actively participate in Incident, Change, and Release Management processes to maintain operational stability.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:

  4+ years of hands‑on experience as a Database Administrator.

• Core DBs:
  Deep expertise in MS SQL Server and Postgre

  SQL.

• OS Environment:
  Strong working knowledge of administering databases on Linux operating systems.
• Cloud Awareness:
  Good understanding or working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
• Storage & Clustering:
  Experience working with complex storage solutions and cluster configurations for scalability and failover.
• Collaboration:

  Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross‑functional technical teams.
