Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Oracle APEX Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Oracle APEX technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support applications using Oracle APEX.
- Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for application logic, reports, and data handling.
- Develop and customize forms, reports, dashboards, and workflows in Oracle APEX.
- Integrate applications with external systems using RESTful Web Services.
- Perform data modeling, ensure data integrity, and enforce best practices in database design.
- Implement user authentication, authorization, and database security controls.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot application and database issues.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, and migration of legacy systems to Oracle APEX.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide production support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Oracle APEX Application Development.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Forms, Reports, and Interactive Dashboards in APEX.
- Experience integrating applications via REST APIs / Web Services.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, database security, and access control.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with application migration and enhancement projects.
Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience for Oracle APEX Developer roles
- (seniority may vary from Application Developer to Senior/Specialist levels based on experience)
Nice to Have
- Experience working in government or enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of Oracle Database administration concepts
- Exposure to modern UI/UX practices within Oracle APEX
