Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive visual examinations and diagnostic tests using advanced ophthalmic equipment.
- Diagnose vision conditions, refractive errors, and ocular pathologies; prescribe corrective lenses or medical treatments as appropriate.
- Provide expert consultations regarding frame selections, lens options, contact lenses, and eye care health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to state and clinical quality standards in Qatar.
- Collaborate with optical retail and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Optometry from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of clinical or optical practice experience.
- Licensing: Valid home-country license; eligibility or existing license for Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP/DHP) is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Excellent clinical diagnosis, strong interpersonal communication, and proficiency in English.
