To conduct studies, analysis and evaluations of drilling engineering data collected while drilling, and recommend methods and techniques for optimizing drilling operations through data analysis, modeling, and simulation.
3 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
This section describes the principal outputs required from the job.
- Policies, Processes and Procedures: Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Day-to-day operations: Applies the day-to-day Tasks assigned form Supervisor to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
- Coordination With Contractors: Monitors and inspects contractors’ activities to ensure compliance and reports any discrepancy between plan and actual work to the Supervisor.
- Optimization Strategy Development & Implementation:
- Develop optimization strategies based on data analysis and modeling results.
- Work with drilling and workover teams to implement optimization strategies.
- Continuously monitor and adjust strategies based on performance.
- Manage and coordinate D&WO software development projects.
- Coordinate the installation on real-time data services on company rigs.
- Maintain drilling central database and ensure drilling information integrate & availability.
- Work with engineering teams to analysis & evaluate the performance of different drilling departments, conduct NPT root cause analysis.
