Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Finishing Operator to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating finishing and packaging equipment, ensuring products are completed according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging finishing machines and equipment.
- Perform finishing activities such as cutting, folding, gluing, laminating, die-cutting, shrink wrapping, and packing, as applicable.
- Ensure finished products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct routine machine setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Report machine faults, quality issues, or production delays to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate production and machine operation records.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.
- Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work effectively with supervisors and production team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a production or packaging environment.
- Experience operating packaging or finishing machinery is preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
