Operations Technician
Dubai | Salary up to AED 20,000
I am working with a global organisation seeking an Operations Technician to provide hands-on technical support across live training environments and virtual delivery platforms throughout the META region.
This role will focus on supporting event technology, AV systems, network infrastructure, and end-user IT services to ensure seamless delivery of in-person and online sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and operation of technology solutions for regional events
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi equipment.
- Install and support AV systems including projectors, conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex), microphones and displays.
- Provide onsite technical support during live training sessions.
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and endpoint devices.
- Support user administration, device configuration, onboarding/offboarding, and asset management.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and general network issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, vendor coordination, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience supporting IT operations, technical environments, or event technology.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and AV systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and identity/access management.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical users.
For this position you must have experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, and event technology.
