Operations Planning Engineer Jobs in Doha at Naffco
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track the progress of all ongoing projects and maintenance contracts.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors regarding project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management.
- Coordinate manpower deployment and workforce distribution among project sites based on workload and project priorities.
- Identify manpower shortages or surpluses and recommend resource optimization plans.
- Follow up with project teams regarding submission of progress invoices, work completion certificates, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with Finance and Commercial Departments to monitor invoice approvals, payment collections, and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure projects are progressing according to approved schedules and highlight delays or operational challenges.
- Assist management in planning project execution strategies and resource allocation.
- Analyze project performance indicators and provide recommendations to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, manpower utilization, invoicing status, and collection updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project planning, operations coordination, project controls.
- Experience in MEP, Fire Protection Systems, Construction.
- Strong understanding of project execution processes, resource planning, and project scheduling.
- Monitoring project invoicing and payment collection activities.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Strong reporting and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Leadership and decision-making skills
