Role Purpose
Ability to lead the operations planning cell and act like a cell leader. Manage the assigned accounts and clients in addition to other accounts as well. This role will be required to have a good knowledge of financials and overall accounts performance (operationally).
Job Accountabilities & Activities
Represent business in a professional manner to industry, customers, vendors, etc.
Communicate with internal and external customers to determine needs through the Senior Operations Planner.
Prepare regularly scheduled engineering Project Status Reports.
Perform design and process calculations and lead the QC cell to get the required reports and technical support on time.
Attend/support/lead engineering review meetings with customers.
Develop repair work scopes, routing, and reports.
Identify design constraints and problems.
Provide engineering information and technical advice to customers and other internal departments.
Ensure compliance with engineering deadlines and deliverables.
Supervise the work of internal and/or contracted external resources to ensure quality and completeness of work.
Responsible for the control, execution, and administration of all Project related assignments.
Lead the appropriate HSE procedures, equipment and training in place.
Liaise with the customer on all technical matters.
Provide estimates of assembly and testing time requirements for costing information on quotations and proposals.
Schedule workflow to ensure delivery requirements are met and resources are used efficiently.
Provide training to department personnel.
Drive improvement of disassembly, inspection, assembly, and testing processes within the department.
Aim for zero lost time accidents and reduction in costs/wastage and scrap.
Prepare presentations and proposals to obtain new orders including proper review of customer specifications and commercial requirements.
Coordinate and resolve customer service issues in a manner that retains the customer and provides opportunities for additional revenue in the future.
Interact with the sales function to ensure that the customer requirements are met as per their expectations.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Required Years Of Experience
Should have one year experience or graduated from a training program.
