About the Role
The Operations Manager – Waste Management is responsible for assisting the Line Manager/ BU Head with directing, developing, managing, and motivating colleagues involved in back-office operations and ensuring the operational integrity of assigned functions and adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and providing exemplary customer service.
Implement and monitor company procedures for the collection, transport, and disposal of waste, in compliance with all regulations and legal requirements. Responsible for developing department policies for achieving department goals, evaluating the progress toward the goal include both team and individual progress and performance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Line Manager/ BU Head with directing, developing, managing, and motivating colleagues.
- Ensure operational integrity of assigned functions and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Implement and monitor company procedures for waste management.
- Develop department policies for achieving department goals.
- Evaluate progress toward goals, including team and individual performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute is a must.
- Master’s degree from a recognized institute is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Skills
- Good communication Skills in English and Hindi, and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.

- Planning, organizing and coordination skills.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in waste management operations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in waste disposal.
