Amazon Operations – Amazon Worldwide Operations is the underlying fulfillment and customer service engine that ensures Amazon creates the same consistent, world-class customer experience every time. We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join our India Operations team.
Join the Operations team as City Manager for the India Ultra Fast Fresh network. As City Manager, you will be responsible for direct people management and driving operational performance in a highly metric-driven environment. You will lead process improvement projects for the site and network, work closely with multiple stakeholders, and drive enhancements in key metrics like Quality, Speed, and Cost.
A key responsibility will also be the development of your team members. Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts and to travel within the city to launch, set up, and monitor operations is required.
Key job responsibilities
Drive creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable their
Functional Area
s for all the FCs/locations to meet and exceed Business Plans.
Set and clarify requirements and expectations for all FC Site leaders.
Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold FC Site managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their FC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
