Job Summary
Arabian Tide Shipping FZE is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics, customs clearance, warehouse operations, and regulatory compliance activities. The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on experience with UAE customs procedures, freight forwarding operations, warehouse management, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle import, export, and transit shipments through UAE Customs.
- Prepare and process all types of Bills of Entry (BOE), including import, export, transit, temporary admission, and other customs declarations.
- Operate and manage customs documentation through Mirsal 2.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and government authorities.
- Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, stock movements, receiving, dispatch, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, Free Zone requirements, and FTA regulations.
- Process and maintain documentation related to VAT, customs duties, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Handle cargo movement and approvals through Calogi, Dnata, and DWC platforms.
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and management.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s ERP system.
- Prepare operational reports, inventory reports, customs reports, and management reports.
- Liaise with government departments, customs authorities, airlines, and logistics service providers.
- Support finance department with operational documentation, costing, and reconciliation requirements.
Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of Mirsal 2
- Strong knowledge of FTA (Federal Tax Authority) procedures and VAT regulations
- Strong knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and documentation
- Hands-on experience with Calogi
- Hands-on experience with Dnata cargo systems
- Hands-on experience with DWC customs and logistics procedures
- Strong knowledge of all types of Bills of Entry (BOE)
- Warehouse operations and inventory management
- Freight forwarding and logistics operations
- Transport coordination and shipment tracking
- ERP systems and inventory management software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or warehouse operations experience.
- Experience working in a Free Zone environment, preferably JAFZA.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
