Position Overview
Milaha Ship Management is seeking an experienced Offshore Rigger to support lifting, rigging, and structural operations onboard offshore vessels. This role is suited for candidates with hands-on offshore experience and additional skills in welding and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform rigging and lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment, slings, shackles, and lifting gear
• Assist in load handling, positioning, and securing of equipment during offshore operations
• Support welding and fabrication activities as required onboard
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety standards, lifting regulations, and permit-to-work systems
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety drills
• Coordinate effectively with crane operators, supervisors, and deck crew
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness in dynamic offshore environments
Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years of proven offshore experience as a Rigger
• Experience in offshore lifting operations (vessels / oil & gas projects)
• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in welding and fabrication
• Familiarity with rigging standards, lifting equipment, and safety procedures
• Valid offshore certifications
• Ability to work in a multinational offshore team
