Offshore NDT Inspector Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Apave International
We are seeking an experienced Offshore NDT Inspector (Level
3) to support hook-up and commissioning (IHUC) activities for the North Field Expansion (NFXP) Offshore Project. The role involves overseeing and ensuring the quality, compliance, and execution of all NDT inspection activities related to topside structural and piping welding.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Offshore NDT Specialist for the project
- Review, monitor, and verify all NDT inspection activities
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and international codes/standards
- Provide technical guidance and oversight on:
- Structural and piping welding inspections
- Quality control processes
- Ensure strict adherence to offshore safety standards and practices
- Prepare and review inspection reports and documentation
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in NDT within oil & gas projects (onshore and offshore)
- Strong knowledge of international standards:
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary offshore environments
Additional Notes
- Level 3 certification is preferred; however, exceptional Level 2 candidates with strong offshore experience may be considered
- Relevant certifications aligned with the role
