Job Purpose:
To drive the end-to-end operations of ZAND Bank’s debit and credit card business, ensuring seamless processing, reconciliations, settlements, and dispute management in line with scheme and regulatory standards. Champion customer experience by resolving card issues efficiently, collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational workflows, and support the implementation of automation and compliance initiatives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete lifecycle of card operations, including processing, settlements, chargebacks, and UAT projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards, bank policies, and scheme guidelines.
- Perform accurate reconciliation and settlements, meeting all statutory and scheme reporting requirements.
- Support the Card Manager in designing operational solutions, developing procedures, and driving automation projects.
- Handle customer disputes and chargebacks, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and responses within scheme and SLA timelines to deliver a strong customer experience.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, scheme rules, and switch processing standards.
- Act as a Maker/backup for payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to control guidelines.
- Monitor workflow queues to guarantee timely processing within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Payments, Technology, and Compliance to ensure smooth execution of card operations and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in card operations within a bank, digital bank, fintech, or payment services environment.
- Proven experience in debit and credit card processing, reconciliation, settlements, and scheme compliance
- A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational qualification for this role.
