About the Role:
We are seeking a QA Engineer responsible for testing Makyee’s software platforms web and mobile, identifying issues, and ensuring smooth functionality before deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience with manual and automated testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
-Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
-Identify, document, and track bugs using a bug tracking system (JIRA, Trello, or similar).
-Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-Work closely with the product team to understand feature requirements and create relevant test cases.
-Implement automated testing strategies using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
-Ensure proper testing across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
-Provide feedback on user experience and suggest UI/UX improvements.
-Participate in code reviews and continuous integration testing.
Requirements:
-Experience: 2+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
Skills:
-Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
-Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright).
-Experience testing React Native applications (preferred).
-Understanding of REST APIs and API testing using Postman or similar tools.
-Familiarity with SQL for data validation.
-Experience in performance and load testing tools is a plus.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.
Bonus: Experience in the PropTech or real estate industry.
Compensation: AED 8,000//
