Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Boy in Dubai. The Office Boy ensure the smooth running of the office and contribute to maintaining a healthy office environment. This role involves handling various tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain office premises, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Ensure all common areas (meeting rooms, pantry, restrooms) are clean and well-stocked.
Arrange furniture and equipment as needed for meetings or events.
Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, and scanning documents.
Deliver and collect documents from various departments or external clients.
Distribute mail, packages, and correspondence efficiently.
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and visitors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pantry.
Assist in setting up and clearing meeting rooms.
Run errands as requested by management, such as banking, purchasing office supplies, etc.
Monitor and restock office supplies and pantry items regularly.
Ensure all office equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the admin or IT department.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Office Boy or in a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of office procedures and practices.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for extended period
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Detail-oriented and proactive in maintaining a tidy work environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
