Role Description The Office Barista is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other hot and cold beverages to employees and visitors. The role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, and providing attentive customer service to create a pleasant office café experience. Daily tasks include operating coffee machines, maintaining cleanliness of the beverage preparation area, replenishing supplies, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The Office Barista will also support small office events by arranging refreshments, coordinating beverage service, and ensuring that the pantry and serving areas are orderly and well-stocked. This role requires close collaboration with office administration and facilities teams to support a professional and hospitable workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including operating coffee machines and preparing a variety of coffee and beverage recipes.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders, clarifying preferences, and coordinating with office teams.
- Candidates should possess basic Food Preparation skills and knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
- Prior experience as a barista or in hospitality, cafés, or restaurants is highly beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple orders, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Basic English language proficiency is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or food service is a plus.
