Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Speech & ADHD Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist with experience in speech development and ADHD intervention to join our multidisciplinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will work with children and/or adolescents facing developmental delays, speech difficulties, and attention-related challenges, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve their daily functioning and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with speech delays, ADHD, and related developmental conditions
- Provide therapy sessions focusing on:
- Fine motor skills
- Sensory integration
- Attention and behavioral regulation
- Pre-language and communication skills
- Collaborate with speech therapists, psychologists, educators, and parents to ensure a holistic care approach
- Implement strategies to improve focus, executive functioning, and social participation
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Educate and train parents/caregivers on home-based intervention techniques
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with DHA regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter (required to practice in Dubai)
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in pediatric therapy, especially with ADHD and speech-related challenges
- Strong understanding of sensory integration therapy and behavioral strategies
- Experience working in clinics, rehabilitation centers, or schools is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with early intervention programs
- Knowledge of evidence-based ADHD management techniques
- Familiarity with assistive communication tools
- Multilingual abilities
